Chilham is located approximately 6 miles outside of the cathedral city of Canterbury, nestled in the Stour Valley.
Public transport connections are plentiful, with Southeastern High Speed trains from London St Pancras to nearby Ashford International taking 37 minutes, with the connection to Chilham adding a further 12 minutes to your journey. Chilham Train Station is a 12 minute stroll from the village square and The Tudor Peacock.
The village is also connected to Canterbury and Ashford via regular Stagecoach bus services, with the bus stop a mere 5 minute walk from the village square.
Although we encourage all of our customers to use public transport where possible, for those that are driving, there is a large (free) public car park at the bottom of Taylor’s Hill. The village Square is a 2 minute walk from there.
